Audrey Wolfe
MA, RCC
Are you feeling anxious, isolated, or uncertain about the path ahead? Does low mood have you unmotivated? Are you grappling with the complexities of gender identity, sexual orientation, or existential dread?
Would you prefer to work with a queer and trans therapist with experience working with LGBTQ+ teens and adults using a feminist and intersectional lens?
I am trained in Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (Level Two), an integrative therapy model, designed to help individuals manage complex trauma symptoms, including self-harm and addictive behaviours. I draw from Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a body-based talk therapy, which integrates neuroscience to guide you with transforming traumatic memories into strengths and resources.
I offer virtual sessions, and I work with adults and youth.
My days of work are Sunday evenings, Monday afternoons and evenings, and Tuesday evenings.
I am an approved CVAP provider.

Meet Audrey
I’ve been supporting clients in community agencies since 2004 and completed my Masters of Arts in Child and Youth Care in 2023. I am a settler on the stolen territories of the Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh and Squamish Nations and my ancestors are British, Lithuanian, and German. I am a queer trans woman and my pronouns are she and her.

Services

Counselling for youth, often combining relational, experiential, and creative techniques to manage emotions more effectively, meet basic daily living needs, and improve relationships with confidence and compassion, refine and utilize their unique voices in ways that reflect their values and aspirations, enhance self-efficacy, build confidence, and enhance overall self-worth.
Drawing on my experiences working with LGBTQ+ teenagers, my dedication to honouring each person’s distinct narrative shines through, fostering connections beyond traditional therapeutic boundaries. I am committed to guiding youth and families through life’s complexities with care.

Counselling for adults, often integrating Feminist Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST) to address past harm, explore identity, and foster genuine self-expression.
Gender-affirming assessments for adults, following WPATH Standards of Care 8 and Canadian transgender care guidelines. These sessions offer a supportive, informed, and non-pathologizing space to explore readiness, informed consent, and personal goals. Assessments are tailored to individual needs and can include letters for hormone therapy, top surgery, and other affirming procedures.
